Hi, I'm Michelle — founder of Ivory & White, and once a bride who got it wrong.
On my wedding day, I wore the big, traditional gown. It was beautiful, sure, but the second the aisle was over and the party started? I couldn't dance in it. I couldn't breathe in it. I didn't feel like me anymore.
I spent my own reception tugging, adjusting, and wishing I had a dress that actually let me celebrate. That moment stuck with me. Why should brides have to choose between looking incredible and enjoying the night?
So I started Ivory & White — for the brides who want both. Dresses that look breathtaking, but also let you move, laugh, eat, dance barefoot, spill champagne, hug too hard, and live every second without holding back.
This isn't about gowns that sit pretty for photos, because duh of course ours do. It's about creating dresses for the part of your wedding you'll never forget — the chaos, the joy, the freedom.
And that photo at the bottom? That's me, mid-reception, drowning in layers of fabric with just one leg peeking out. It's a gorgeous shot but also proof that my dress was holding me back. Ivory & White exists so you don't have to feel that way.

Our Chermside showroom isn't a bridal shop. There are no racks to fight other brides through, no pushy assistants, and no appointments where you're shuffled out after 45 minutes. It's a private, unhurried space — designed to feel like stepping into someone's beautifully curated home, not a retail floor.
Every appointment is exclusive. That means the showroom is yours. Champagne on arrival, natural light, and zero pressure. You bring your people; we'll take care of the rest.
We carry an edited collection of gowns and separates you won't find in a department store or a generic boutique — many of them made to order, some of them one of a kind. The kind of pieces that make people ask, "Where did you get that?" long after the confetti settles.

Every bride who walks into Ivory & White is paired with a stylist who listens first and suggests second. We're not here to steer you toward what's trending or what's easiest to sell. We're here to find the dress that makes you feel exactly like yourself — just the most radiant, most celebrated version of that.
Our team has worked with hundreds of Australian brides across every body type, style, and vision of "the one." We know how silhouettes move. We know what fabrics photograph. We know how to make you feel confident, not overwhelmed, at every step of the process.

Made-to-order craftsmanship. Many of our gowns are made to order, which means they're crafted for your measurements, not pulled off a rail and pinned to fit. The difference shows — in the way it moves, the way it feels, and the way you carry yourself in it.
Honest styling. We'll always tell you the truth. If something isn't working, we'll say so — kindly, and with a better option in hand. Trust matters more to us than a sale.
